What you need to know:
1)You may want to arrive early to sign-up. We will call auditionees into the room in the order that they appear on the sign-up list. You will also fill out a short Audition Form with a few quick questions.
2) Be prepared to sing a verse and chorus of a song of your choice when you first enter the audition. Choose a song that you feel best showcases your voice - preferably something that is or has been on the radio. We may also ask you to sing a few easy scales with the piano if we want to hear another part of your range that your song did not show off. If we do not ask you to sing scales, it it no way indicates a bad audition; it simply means we heard everything we needed to make a decision.
3) Be relaxed and have fun! We want to see your personality in your audition!
What happens after the audition:
The group will deliberate and select auditionees we'd like to call back. At callbacks, you will sing another verse and chorus from a different song, as well as learn one of our songs and sing it with the group. If you are not called back, please don't let this discourage you! In many cases, people who have returned to audition for us again have made the group!
